Living across the Pacific Ocean in
Asia, it was important to find an agent to entrust with the many details
of finding and buying a house on Salt Spring Island. Neacol quickly and
fully understood our requirements and offered thoughtful assessments,
both positive and negative, of the properties on the market. She pointed
out many relevant details that would have escaped our attention. When
she could have pushed us into a quick decision, her integrity and

My partner and I just
bought our first apartment through Neacol Miller, and we could not say
enough about how her services exceeded our expectations.
Buying was challenging for
us because we were doing it from 2500 km away, but Neacol’s technical
expertise bridged the gap. She took her own pictures of properties and
posted them on-line for our viewing. She spent hours with us over the
phone, fax and email to save us paying and waiting for couriers. She also
very patiently got us through all the little hurdles you run into trying
to juggle documents online with time constraints.
Parts of the buying
experience were quite trying for us. We were ready to buy one of the first
places we found until Neacol discovered details about the property that
saved us from being stuck with serious building repairs. We counted
ourselves lucky and got ready to buy one of the next places we found,
until she discovered details about the unit, building and Strata that had
been blatantly misreported.
The Vancouver market proved
challenging to get into, and we were getting discouraged but Neacol
managed to find us the perfect place, and deliver our offer before it even
hit MLS.

My husband and I purchased
a condo through Neacol in September 2006. We had a few challenges in our
search as we had a limited budget, and needed to find a building that
would allow for our 2 dogs and cat. The three of us searched diligently
for several weeks before something suitable came on the market.
When we finally found our
new home, Neacol helped us through the inspection, mortgage approval, and
reading of all the strata minutes. She also negotiated a purchase price
lower than asking, and a quick possession which helped us out a lot! She
even paid to have our new fireplace cleaned out of her own pocket when it

My partner and I bought a
condo in Vancouver through Neacol Miller this fall. We live in the
Northwest Territories, so the logistics of buying in Vancouver were
tricky, but Neacol made it as smooth and easy as possible. She went to
look at places for us, immediately sending us pictures on-line. She would
let us know immediately what we needed to do, and she was extremely prompt
about getting the necessary work done at her end. Neacol was very honest
with us about the buildings she went to see. I felt very confident in her
judgment of the places she looked at, and trusted her completely to help
us make a decision. She would phone us frequently to update us on the
progress of the sale when we decided to put in an offer. A couple of the
places we looked at turned out to be less than ideal, and Neacol was
supportive of our decision to pull out. I never felt any pressure. Neacol

As a
first time buyer I knew little about buying home.
I came
into this new experience with some preconceived anxieties and was a bit
intimidated by the process. Neacol Miller, with her patience and wonderful
personality, was able to calm my nerves while walking me through the

We recently bought a
condominium with Neacol’s help. The place we ended up wanting was in a
very popular neighbourhood, and so we found ourselves in an extremely fast
paced bidding process. Neacol, while rushing between us and the sellers,
advised us on how to make it through, and always insisted that this was
‘exciting’ and not ‘stressful’.
We managed to come away
with the deal that night. When we met the listing agent at the building
inspection, he told us point blank that the only reason we won the bidding
war was because of Neacol. Our offer had actually not initially been the
best, but they had chosen to work with us, because of her presentation of
the offer, and the way she represented us.
